Data for Indicator 3.2.2 depicts the neonatal mortality rate for the San Diego region. These regional rates are consistently lower than the global target of 12 deaths per 1,000 births by 2030. 

The map below illustrates neonatal mortality rates per 1,000 births by Supervisorial District. Counts are too small to map at more granular geographic levels.
